TributeWriter and educater Chris Knoblaugh using horror to help children with reading difficulties

As an educator who came up against the challenge of helping children with difficulty reading within the limited available time for a regular teacher, Chris Knoblaugh knew she had to try something a little different. After looking around for source material that would draw kids in with compelling stories, while pitching language at a level they could grasp, she decided horror might be an ideal medium. So was born her first book, Tribute. She has another book in the pipeline for this year. Judging by reviews on Amazon and Goodreads, while it is doing its intended job of making tweens  read, the book is also receiving good reviews from adults. You can find Tribute, here.
