Spring Haunts Brings a Weekend of Horror Writing to York

Writing Magazine and Alex Davis Events have joined forces for Spring Haunts, a packed weekend of horror workshops, interviews, book sales and more, all taking place at York’s Guildhall venue on the 11th and 12th May.
One of a trio of forthcoming writing weekends, Spring Haunts brings the focus to the darker side of fiction. The event will be facilitated by WM’s regular specialist horror columnist, acclaimed lecturer and tutor Alex Davis, who will be running a series of core workshops over the weekend alongside a series of sessions from guest authors and workshoppers.
Featured topics over the weekend include atmosphere in horror, the five senses, calling upon childhood fears, the uncanny, horror and technology and more.
