Here’s a small selection of the horror and genre news that caught our eye during the last week …
Arriving 13 October from author Coy Hall and Sentinel Creatives, Devilry in Godling Wood
They say you shouldn’t go into Godling Wood. A secret lies at the heart of the forest, older even than the empire that dares to call itself Holy.
These were not always Christian lands. Years ago, something else walked these woods. It never left.
Now the forest bears witness to the arrival of Damiano, an accomplished goliard of some repute—though not all of it good. Having exhausted the hospitality of the great lords of his warmer southern homeland, he has come to seek his fortune in the courts of the Holy Roman Empire, perhaps even to win himself a patron.
As he is drawn deeper into the intrigues of Graf Hagen’s court, his own skills will come to play a part in unravelling the truth, and he will find himself at the centre of both horror and tragedy. Available for pre-order now in eBook and audiobook, with other editions to follow, you can guarantee yours here.

In New Orleans, Adalynn—a schizophrenic writer—falls in love with the woman her father hired to be her caretaker. When Adalynn’s brother, a serial killer, becomes jealous of the caretaker, he intends to make her his next victim.

Coming 13 October from author Drew Huff and Nefarious Bat Press, The Exodontists
The Exodontists dream of bleach and teeth…and run a free dental clinic out of the abandoned warehouse they call home.
Red, their patriarch, dreads the day his beloved family will ask him exactly where they came from and how they became family…
In this darkly macabre Halloween horror novel, the Exodontists–a family of tooth-loving immortal monsters–must fight to keep their home after a Halloween store takes over the abandoned warehouse they live in.
Worse, still: The warehouse isn’t only their home. It’s also where they’ve run a free dental clinic for the last few decades, serving the needy and the human town they dwell in.
But sharing the warehouse with the Halloween store culminates in an epic grudge match to the death when the Exodontists unwittingly attract the attention of incel employee Garrett. And things get violent. Available for pre-order now in eBook and paperback, you can guarantee your copy here.
