Walking Dead ‘Companion’ Series Confirmed

Though it’s been rumoured for some time now, AMC President Charlie Collier has confirmed that the companion series to The Walking Dead will be going into production later this year, though beyond that there are precious few details as yet. What we do know, though, is that while none of the cast from the main show will be appearing, creator Robert Kirkman and Gale Anne Hurd will be executive producing so we can expect more of the same, only different!

Stern Release Walking Dead Pinball Machine

Not content with the usual books, DVDs, Blu-rays, t-shirts, games etc, The Walking Dead has really hit the big time by having its own pinball machine created by arcade game masters Stern. Featuring the chance to fight the undead alongside Rick Grimes across a beautifully drawn playing field packed with creepy cadavers and familiar locations, the machine is available in two editions, the cheapest of which will set you back a mere $5,995! Walking Dead Season 4 Limited Blu-ray Available for Pre-Order

If you can’t wait for the upcoming fifth season of The Walking Dead, which premiers in the UK on FOX television on 13 September (just one day after the US see it), there’s a nice special edition Blu-ray of season four coming out on 29 September to keep you going. Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus To Star In New Silent Hill Game

As you may already know, there’s a new Silent Hill game on the horizon, but before you groan and move on, you should know that this one’s been developed by Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima and the one and only Guillermo Del Toro. With Reedus lending his likeness and voice to the project as well, there’s actually a fair chance that this could be the first great Silent Hill game for many a year. Check out the teaser below…
