For Mark Prewitt, there’s only two priorities that matter: avoiding his father’s new wife, and killing time with this friends. It’s Summer, 1987, and idle nights are the devil’s playground. For starters, she’s a practising witch, and uses her magic to protect her family. Mark and George bond over homemade spells, books, even their shared loneliness. Mark even participates in a séance so George can contact her dead sister.

They try to keep their relationship secret, but Mark soon learns keeping secrets in a small town is next to impossible. Once their secret is out, Mark’s friends are out to get the witch sisters for stealing their friend away, forcing Mark to make a painful decision between two worlds.
