When she befriends the witch to see if the stories she is told are true, the situation only becomes more complicated. The book is part of the oversized ‘Black Voltage’ line, and comes with beautifully designed dust jacket artwork, as well as being limited to fifty-two author signed copies. You can head over to Thunderstorm Books and pick up your copy now, at a cost of $85.

unmemoryNew chapbook, Unmemory, by Kristi DeMeester, illustrated by Yves Tourigny

Unmemory, by the extraordinary Kristi DeMeester (BeneathEverything That’s Underneath) is a nine-thousand-word short story, lovingly presented in an illustrated chapbook from Tallhat Press. It begins when a girl seeks to find the Christmas video that traumatised her childhood. The chapbook is put together wonderfully and features ten illustrations by artist Yves Tourigny. With the Christmas theme and the chapbook presentation it would make a perfect belated holiday gift.
