Look Out For … Will Haunt You by Brian Kirk

Will Haunt You by Brain Kirk - cover“With his latest novel, Kirk conjures up a tale about a strange book that haunts those who read it, trapping them in their own personal hell.”

There’s an urban legend about an ominous book. Once you read it, you face a mysterious figure and a nightmare of your worst personal fears. But Jesse Wheeler certainly isn’t afraid of any book. The former heavy metal guitarist for The Rising Dead deals with reality on a regular basis, so nothing really scares him. Seven years earlier Jesse accidentally injured his son while on a bender. Now, his son permanently disabled, wrecked by guilt for destroying the only future his son had, Jesse struggles to maintain his job and keep it all together.

Soon, Jesse discovers the legend of the book is not just an urban legend. A nightmare has been specially designed just for him. Bringing ghosts up from his past, driven by his own intimate fears, Jesse realizes he isn’t the only one in danger.

He read the book. Now he’s trapped in a deadly game. Each page brings him closer and closer until he reaches the end.

That’s when the real fun begins.
