The fantastic Spectral Press continue to expand and enhance their stellar line up in 2012. Today Spectral have announced that their latest novella The Respectable Face of Tyranny is now available in paperback and is now available for pre-order [Editor – although don’t forget if you want the hardback edition you can pre-order from the This Is Horror Shop].
Spectral Press guru Simon Marshall-Jones says, “The paperback of Gary’s novella is being launched today (pre-orders anyway) and then next week it’ll be available on Amazon, thus bringing it to an even broader audience…”
The release of Gary Fry’s The Respectable Face of Tyranny shows a huge departure from Spectral’s usual business model and continues to reflect how this small press has grown over the previous twelve months.
The paperback version of The Respectable Face of Tyranny is available to pre-order now, limited numbers of the hardback edition are still available. The hardback edition also includes the exclusive story World Wide Web.
Simon went on to detail some of the secrets of the success of Spectral press, “In this case, Gary was highly impressed with the level of quality I was bringing to the table with Spectral – not just in terms of the presentation but also in the thoroughness of the editing and attention to detail. He also saw just how serious I was in my ambitions for getting involved in the publishing industry and felt that this novella would have the perfect home at Spectral.”
Details of the plot of The Respectable Face of Tyranny are being kept under wraps yet it can be revealed that it is very much a story for our times, steeped in austerity and personal struggle.
The paperback novella is available in numerous countries and is priced as follows:
£4.99 plus £1 P&P (UK)
$8 plus $4 P&P (US)
€6 plus €3 P&P (Europe)
