New anthology of weird fiction, Behold! Oddities, Curiosities & Undefinable Wonders coming 28 July from Crystal Lake Publishing

Sometimes the contributors list for an anthology is just too good to ignore and the new weird fiction anthology, Behold! Oddities, Curiosities & Undefinable Wonders, from Crystal Lake, is just one of those. Featuring work by Clive Barker, John Langan, Neil Gaiman, Ramsey Campbell, Richard Thomas and so many other names that fans of dark and weird fiction are sure to know, it seems certain that this anthology will be a hit. The Horror Channel reveals stellar line up of Saturday night premieres for July

The Uk’s Horror Channel has revealed a month of Saturday night premieres for July which are sure to deprive genre fans of sleep during their summer weekends. Features include the UK TV premiere of Chernobyl Diaries on 1 July, The Horror Channel’s first ever screening of The Apparition on 8 July and the 1979 classic, Phantasm, for the first time the following week. The premieres keep coming throughout the month and horror fans can find out what else is lurking towards the end of the month here.


UFO horror, Phoenix Forgotten, produced by Ridley Scott (Alien Covenant) coming to Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download 18 September

Based on one of the best known UFO incidents of the twentieth century, Phoenix Forgotten focuses on the true events of March 1997, when lights appeared over Phoenix, Arizona. The lights were quickly dubbed “The Phoenix Lights.” The film follows three teeenagers who decide to head out toward the lights, armed only with a video camera, to try to establish just what the lights were. The teenagers disappeared and the footage they captured that night has not been available, until now.


Independent British horror short, The Telephone, available online now

Written and directed by Stuart Wheeldon, The Telephone, is the second short film in a horror trilogy from Nine Ladies Films. The film stars Nigel Barber (SpectreMission: Impossible 5) and features the case of a missing woman and a mysterious old telephone that keeps ringing.
