This Is Horror

The Cutting Room: Killer Rack

Betty Downer thinks her life will improve when she gets breast implants from Dr. Cate Thulu. Her new assets attract attention, but Betty soon discovers her new boobs are man-eating, Lovecraftian monsters hell-bent on world domination— and only she can stop them.

Why we’re looking forward to this: There are serious horror films, there are horror films that are downright terrible, and then there are horror films that have premises so bizarre that you just can’t not watch them. Killer Rack is one of those films.

It’s a film about a pair of killer breasts, for goodness sake, so we’re not expecting Oscar material here, and the fact that Troma head honcho Lloyd Kaufman is involved should give some indication as to the level of intelligence and seriousness that you should bring to this film.

Sometimes the world needs a film so outrageous, so mind boggling and just so silly that you can crack a couple of beers, order out for pizza and switch off your brain for an hour and a half. We’re reasonably sure that when H P Lovecraft created his Cthulhu mythology he never once envisaged a scenario involving killer breasts, but for the sake of experiencing every aspect of this wonderful horror genre that we all love, we’ll cast our eyes over Killer Rack.

Killer Rack is due out from Camp Motion Pictures in the autumn of 2016.
