Rosemary's BabyNBC drops hints about Rosemary’s Baby

NBC have released further pictures to promote their new 4 hour adaptation of Ira Levin’s novel Rosemary’s Baby. The cast will feature Star Trek star Zoe Saldana, Patrick J. Adams and Harry Potter bad guy Jason Isaacs. The show will premiere on NBC on 11 May in the States. American Horror Story scribe James Wong is one of the brains behind the series which will be directed by The Wire director Agnieszka Holland.

Experience horror first hand

The trailer for new movie You Are Not Alone has now arrived. The film puts you, the viewer, behind the eyes of Natalie Wilner as she returns home from college for the 4th of July celebrations in her home town. That night, a killer starts his spree… This first-person thriller doesn’t yet have a release date but will be setting pulses racing when it is unleashed on the public.

Ada Wong returns to the Resident Evil fold

Resident Evil franchise writer/director Paul W.S. Anderson has confirmed that the latest (and possibly final) Resident Evil film will feature the return of Li Bingbing in the role of series favourite Ada Wong. Milla Jovovich will return once more as Alice. The film has yet to be shot but This Is Horror will bring you more news as we have it.

A Monster emerges

The screen adaptation of Patrick Ness’ award-winning children’s novel A Monster Calls has announced it’s first piece of casting news. Like Crazy star Felicity Jones is on the verge of signing and Liam Neeson has been approached for the role of the monster. Pan’s Labyrinth producer Belen Atienza has already been confirmed. The story centres on a young boy who escapes from his mother’s illness and problems at school by using his imagination to create a magical fantasy world full of monsters. The film is due for an October 2016.
