GhostsFree screenings at Grimmfest

The organisers of Grimmfest have announced free screenings throughout the festival. The screenings include Hansel & Gretel Get Baked and short films Out There and Sleepworking. The two short films will be screened together on Saturday 5 October at The Dancehouse Theatre in Manchester. Seats are available on a first come first served basis, Grimmfest staff recommend you get there early!

November is haunted by Spectral Press

Spectral Press have announced two new titles for release on 2 November 2013. Still Life by Tim Lebbon and Ghosts by Paul Kane will both be released on the same day and are available now to order a limited edition hardcover (125 copies) and limited paperback (100 copies) from the Spectral Press website.

HWA dominate Halloween

The Horror Writers Association will be running their Halloween Haunts online event for the whole of October. Many different horror writers will be taking over the HWA official blog for the day and posting their Halloween experiences and memories. There will also be some great giveaways and competitions run as well. Be sure to head over to the Halloween Haunts blog page.

Line-up announced for Frightfest All-Nighter

Tickets are already on sale for the Frightfest All-Nighter on Saturday 26 October and the line-up has just been announced. It will include the films Soulmate, Patrick, Discopath, Mark of the Devil, The Station and Nothing Left to Fear. Tickets cost £55 and are available direct from the Leicester Square cinema website.

Joseph D’Lacey on the lookout for women

Joseph D’Lacey is on the lookout for female horror authors that are currently writing within the genre and are willing to be interviewed on The Book Show. Check out the clip for full details.
