Machine Gun WomanThe Machine Gun Woman comes to your screens

Bring Me The Head of the Machine Gun Woman has been announced on DVD. This trashy grindhouse flick will be released in cinemas on 27 September and then on DVD, Blu-ray and VOD on 7 October 2013.

Zombies attack your ears

Telos Publishing have announced that Neil Gardner at Spokenworld Audio have purchased the audio rights to Sam Stone’s novella Zombies At Tiffany’s. The audiobook will be released on Halloween and will be exclusively available from the Spokenworld Audio website.

Serbian horror takes over Europe

Fallen Angel, the new film from Serbian director Marko Marinkovic will be premiering at film festivals across Europe this year and has already generated quite a buzz. UK distribution details are yet to be announced but check out the trailer above for an insight into the filthy world of Eastern European cinema.

Mayhem descends on Nottingham

The organisers of Mayhem Film Festival have announced that acclaimed director Nicholas Roeg (Don’t Look Now) will open the festival which runs from 31 October – 3 November 2013. A special screening of Don’t Look Now has also been announced among a whole host of others. For tickets head over to the Broadway cinema website.

Gail Z. Martin returns to Solaris

Solaris have announced that they will be publishing Deadly Curiosities by Gail Z. Martin, the book will be published in the UK, Ireland and the United States in July 2014.  The book is an urban fantasy which features a psychic who works in an antique shop where she controls the flow of supernatural items.

Horns makes an appearance

Footage for the film adaptation of Joe HIll’s Horns has surfaced from the Toronto Film Festival. The film, starring Daniel Radcliffe, doesn’t currently have a release date but when it is announced, This Is Horror will bring you all the details.
