Osama wins World Fantasy Award

Lavie Tidhar has beaten off strong competition from George R R Martin and Stephen King to take home the World Fantasy Award for best novel. The award, presented in Toronto on 4 November is a huge coup for the author and the book which was published in paperback by Solaris. Check out This Is Horror’s review of this fascinating tome.

Horror Club Returns

Horror Channel will host its second screening event on 4 December when a screening of Julian Richard’s chiller Shiver will be the main event. The exclusive preview screening will take place at The Horse Hospital in London. The screening will be hosted by Emily Booth and genre expert Billy Chainsaw.
