News Round-up Week Ending 9 February 2018

Here’s a small selection of the horror and genre news that caught our eye during the last week …

Varying Distances - smallNew from Crystal Lake, Darren Speegle’s Varying Distances

Released today through Crystal Lake Publishing is the short story collection Varying Distance by Darren Speegle, author of Adam’s Ladder and The Third Twin. The collection features twelve tales, with backdrops as varied as Ibiza in the flower era and the theatre of combat in the Iraq war to an assassin at a party trying to find their target. Jeffrey Thomas, writing the foreword to the collection enthusiastically tells us of the poetry that makes up much of the collection, as well as dialogue that sings and scintillates.
