Albion Fay available for pre-order

Spectral Press have announced the release of Albion Fay written by author Mark Morris, with a foreword by Adam Nevill. The story tells of the disturbing happenings that take place during one summer at a peaceful and isolated holiday house. Morris previous works include writing four books for the popular Doctor Who series. Albion Fay will be released by Spectral Press in April 2015, but you can pre-order a copy now from the Spectral Press website.

Strantzas rises from the embers

February 2015 will see the latest release from author Simon Strantzas. These Last Embers is a single weird fiction story in chapbook form. Only 200 copies will be released, all signed by the author and the cover artist Drazen Jozjan. Pre-order your copy from Undertow Books.

Horror Writers Association announce new scholarship

The Horror Writers Association (HWA), has this week announced that they will be offering a new scholarship in honour of their late president Rocky Wood. Rocky himself received a Bram Stoker Award on two occasions from the HWA and was best known for his in-depth work surrounding Stephen King’s writing. As well as announcing the scholarship, the HWA have revealed that former vice-president, Lisa Morton, will succeed Rocky Wood as president. Modern Myths are happening at Crystal Lake

Crystal Lake Publishing has released the cover of its latest book Modern Mythmakers. Written by Michael McCarty, Modern Mythmakers is a non-fiction book which includes interviews from 35 of the industry’s most influential writers and film-makers.
