News Round-up Week Ending 3 May 2019

Here’s a small selection of the horror and genre news that caught our eye during the last week …

walk the darkness down

Recently released by Thunderstorm Books, Walk The Darkness Down, a weird western by John Boden

Originally released as a hardcover only, Walk the Darkness Down is a weird western by John Boden (Rattlesnake Kisses) dealing with a cast of characters fighting their demons, in a story that is as calmly unsettling and surreal as it is vicious and violent. Chad Lutzke (The Same Deep Water As You) describes it as a “Wizard of Oz-esque, Tolkienish adventure that feels more like Lansdale meets 80’s body horror meets Gunsmoke.” With the limited hardcover long sold out, the novel is soon to be released in eBook format, with a paperback to follow. We will provide dates and pre-order links when we have them.
