Complete Short Stories Mike Carey

Coming soon from PS Publishing, The Complete Short Stories of Mike Carey

Known as Mike Carey or M. R. Carey, depending on which genre the versatile writer is working in at the time, this author is perhaps best known for his work in comics and for the novel, The Girl With All The Gifts, which was later adapted into a film of the same name. PS Publishing have announced that they will be releasing all of Carey’s short fiction, collected for the first time. Featuring ten stories from various genres, this is one our readers won’t want to miss out on. Information on pricing and a release date will be available soon.


the fearingThe first instalment of John F. D. Taff’s The Fearing: Fire & Rain, out 9 July from Grey Matter Press

Long awaited since it was hinted at late in 2018, John F. D. Taff’s vision of the apocalypse, The Fearing, arrives with its first instalment: Fire & Rain on 9 July, from Grey Matter Press.  Following on from the acclaimed Little Black Spots, his 2018 short story collection, The Fearing is an epic vision of the world’s end, told as only the king of pain can. Serialised into several instalments, early reviews of the novel hold this up as one of Taff’s finest works.
