Black Static – Issue 45

TTA Press have released the details of issue 45 of their fantastic horror fiction magazine, Black Static. Issue 45 will be released in early March and will contain fiction from Steve Rasnic Tem, S.P. Miskowski and Cate Gardner among others. The issue will also feature Stephen Volk’s and Lynda E. Rucker’s regular columns.

From Lionsgate Home Entertainment, comes The Voices, on Blu-Ray and DVD, available to buy from Tuesday 7 April. The Voices is a dark comedy film with an all-star cast including Ryan Reynolds, Gemma Arterton and Anna Kendrick. The story follows Jerry (Reynolds), who unintentionally winds up a killer. Jerry must decide which path to take by listening to the voices of his evil talking cat and his friendly talking dog. The film will be available to buy through Amazon, and is available to rent prior to its official release.

Gaga’s Little Monster Unleashed

American Horror Story is set to see Lady Gaga appear as a regular character in the fifth season. It has been revealed, that the latest installation of the FX  series will named American Horror Story: Hotel. The show will be aired in October 2015. It is still unknown which character Gaga will embody, but audiences can get a first glimpse at what is in store by viewing her teaser Tweet.

American Horror Story actor Ben Woolf dies at 34

Tragic news broke this week of the untimely death of American Horror Story actor, Ben Woolf. Woolf, who played Meep in the latest series Freak Show, died on Wednesday after being hit by a car wing mirror on Hollywood Boulevard. The driver, who stopped at the scene, has not been arrested and no further action will be taken.

Arnie will be back… in May

Lionsgate have announced the release of latest zombie flick, Maggie, expected to hit cinemas on 8 May. The film stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as Wade, the father of a 16-year-old girl (Abigail Breslin), who is gradually falling foul to zombie virus. Wade must stand by Maggie as she makes the transformation between human and flesh-eating zombie. Maggie is directed by Henry Hobson.
