Annabelle is back

After terrorising viewers throughout cinemas last year, Annabelle is due to return at the end of next month on Blu-Ray and DVD. The movie will be available to purchase for home entertainment from 23 February 2015. From movie moguls, Warner Bros, Annabelle tells the story of an expecting couple, who get more than they bargained for when John brings home a beautiful doll for his wife.

MacLachlan returns to Twin Peaks

Showtime have announced that Kyle MacLachlan will return to Twin Peaks to reprise his role as Special Agent Dale Cooper. The third season comes 25 years after the last, which aired in 1991. The drama follows the inhabitants of an American town which is dealing with the aftermath of the murder of teenager Laura Palmer. Twin Peaks is scheduled to air in 2016.

Fletcher scores a hat-trick

Jo Fletcher Books has revealed the details of a deal for three new books. All of these books will come from the pen of bestselling author, Alison Littlewood. A Cold Silence is one of the named titles, and is the sequel to A Cold Season which smashed charts after becoming part of the Richard and Judy Book Club. A Cold Silence will be published by Jo Fletcher Books in September 2015. Stay tuned in to This Is Horror for more information.

V.H. Leslie’s Skein and Bone debut

Accomplished author and illustrator, V.H. Leslie will release her first debut collection later this year. The aptly named, Skein and Bone, is a collection of supernatural tales. The collection will be released in July 2015, published by Undertow Books. The intriguing cover art has also been released with this announcement and is designed by Vince Haig.
