News Round-up Week Ending 13 October 2017

Here’s a small selection of the horror and genre news that caught our eye during the last week …

TrilogyofHorrors

A Trilogy of Horrors come to the White Bear Theatre, Kennington

With a run from 24 to 28 October (just in time for Halloween), A Trilogy of Horrors is a theatre production featuring three classic stories, reinterpreted for the stage. The show, performed by Tumble Dry Theatre, will feature Edgar Allen Poe’s The Tell-Tale Heart, Charles Dickens’ The Signal Man and Mary Shelley’s The Mortal Immortal. ZombieDoctor

The undead and medicine collide in the new Zombie Doctor card game

Produced by Edinburgh’s Colin Hutton, Zombie Doctor is a card game, currently seeking assistance through kickstarter. The game pits up to four medical professionals against one another, using a system involving pain or gain cards, and involves the severing of limbs to stem the zombie infection. The game was 25% funded in the first forty-eight hours of the Kickstarter being live. To find out what it’s all about, click here.


AUXnicolehangingNew British horror feature film, Aux, coming 10 November

Starring John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the RingsIndiana Jones) and Tanya Frank (Chewing GumBroadchurch), Aux is the story of two boys who discover a secret military bunker, deep within the woods. There they uncover something terrible and only one of them makes it out alive. What follows is a tale of ritualistic horror and even the military police become the prey of the thing they have unleashed.
