Grimmfest announce Stephen King Season
Manchester’s horror movie moguls have announced that they will be running a Stephen King season from Oxford Road’s Dancehouse in early 2015. Beginning 10 February, a host of Stephen King films will be shown at the old theatre. The line-up consists of: A Good Marriage, Carrie, Salem’s Lot, Creepshow and Pet Sematary. Advanced tickets are available for each individual screening priced at just £6.50 and season passes, allowing entry to all five films, are on sale at £25. Until Dawn trailer unleashed
Gamers across the globe can now watch the trailer for the new Supermassive Playstation 4 thriller, Until Dawn. After announcing the production of the game two years ago, the company have now released the trailer for the slasher, which features actress Hayden Panettiere (Scream 4). The premise of the game is unique, where the participant is offered hundreds of endings based on each action throughout the game, each decision, however minor, affects the outcome of the story.
Fukunaga floats into IT’s domain
It has been confirmed that Carey Fukunaga, True Detective, is to co-write and direct the first film of the epic, 2-part remake of King’s classic horror, IT. Producer, Dan Lin, has also announced that production is estimated to begin in summer 2015, with the preparation beginning in March. Spectral unleashes the Darkest of Terrors
Spectral Press have announced the release of brand new anthology Darkest Terrors: A Best of Dark Terrors.
