Stephen Volk’s The Little Gift available for pre-order

Hot on the heels of his appearance on the This is Horror podcast, Stephen Volk’s new novella, The Little Gift, released through PS Publishing, is now available for pre-order. The book focuses on the way in which, sometimes, the choices we decide not to make can have just as profound an effect on life as those which we do. Double feature The Railway Carriage and Megan coming to DVD in April

After receiving great plaudits at various festivals towards the end of 2016, horror shorts The Railway Carriage and Megan are scheduled for release together on a single DVD in April. The Railway Carriage features a man called John who finds himself trapped time and again in a dreamlike state within a labyrinthine railway carriage. The story unfolds as he tries desperately to find out why he is there and what mysteries he must solve to find his way out. Megan is the story of a man whose girlfriend, Megan, disappeared five years earlier, during an apocalyptic virus outbreak and his quest to track her down. The DVD offering will feature both short films, the soundtrack to Megan, along with a variety of special features, interviews, etc. Take a look at the trailer,s below.


Newly compiled complete short story collection of Elizabeth Walter, The Spirit of the Place set for release 31 March

Edited by and with an informative introduction by Dave Brzeski, The Spirit of the Place and Other Strange Tales compiles, for the first time, all thirty-one of Elizabeth Walter’s short stories. Described as eerie and uncanny tales, the collection takes in stories published as long ago as 1965, working up until the late seventies. The collection is released through Shadow Publishing and anyone intrigued to get to grips with her work can find it here.
