Cover Reveal: They Don’t Come Home Anymore by T.E. Grau

You may remember last October we announced the acquisition of a brand new T.E. Grau novellaThey Don’t Come Home Anymore will be released November 2016 and we are so proud to reveal the cover art courtesy of Candice Tripp, design by Ives Hovanessian. Feast your eyes upon its magnificence.

We caught up with T.E. Grau who had this to say:

I can’t tell you how excited and proud I am to feature the artwork of Candice Tripp on the cover of They Don’t Come Home Anymore. Her distinctive style and use of children to convey such dark deeds, such brutality and pessimism, perfectly fits the tone of the novella. And, her work is just visually stunning in general, that demands close attention to the details, as that’s where the devils are. The combination of her artwork and the eye-catching cover design of Ives Hovanessian has fused into a cover that provides a spectacular visual calling card for my story.

We are so excited to publish T.E. Grau and with a Josh Malerman novella also on its way, Christmas quite literally comes early for This Is Horror Publishing fans.

But don’t take our word for it, here are what other dark fiction heavyweights have to say about T.E. Grau:

“T.E. Grau has that special touch that leaves part of a reader trapped inside his tales, and that’s always a sign that others should proceed, wide-eyed, into these stories. For me, he’s right up there with the best new generation of horror writers …”—Adam Nevill, author of Lost Girl

“T.E. Grau’s writing is dynamic and vital and reinforces the notion that the 2000s and 2010s are a high water mark in the tradition of horror and the weird.”—Laird Barron, author of Swift to Chase
