Nicholas Pesce’s The Eyes of my Mother to be realeased in UK cinemas 24 March

The critically acclaimed and long awaited The Eyes of my Mother has finally been scheduled for a UK-wide general release on 24 March. After learning to be calm in the face of death and to have a good understanding of anatomy thanks to her former-surgeon mother, Francisca’s life is changed forever by a tragedy. This event though, while scarring her, also leads her to give in to a perverse curiosity. Take a look at the trailer below, this is certainly one to watch out for.


Strange-horror-kickstarter

New Kickstarter project from Gary Scott Beatty combines comics and music

Strange Horror is an intriguing new Kickstarter concept, devised by Garry Scott Beatty, which will fuse the media of the horror graphic novel with music. At present there are three volumes of the comic series, and they are presented with forty minutes of music available as an MP3 download, to compliment and enrich the reading experience. Whether it works remains to be seen, but it’s certainly an interesting idea. You can find out all the information here.


PET_PACKSHOTDisturbing tale of obsessive love, Pet, coming 6 March on DVD and Blu-ray

Starring Dominic Monaghan (The Lord of the Rings) as Seth, a young man who falls in love with a young woman, Pet sees the disturbing lengths to which someone affected by obsessive love can go. Having received a number of five-star reviews, Pet is one to look out for.
