Ramsey Campbell honoured

British horror legend Ramsey Campbell has been awarded an honorary fellowship by Liverpool John Moores University for his outstanding contribution to literature. The Liverpool born author has won four World Fantasy Awards, ten British Fantasy Awards, three Stoker Awards and the HWA Lifetime Achievement Award in his long and distinguished career.

Walter Skinner returns

Mitch Pileggi, took to his own Twitter account to announce that he will be returning to The X-Files as curmudgeonly boss Walter Skinner. Stay in touch with This Is Horror for updates on The X-Files as and when we have them.

Wan to remake The Entity

Horror maestro James Wan (The Conjuring, Saw) has reunited his writing team of Chad and Carey Hayes and producer Roy Lee to start working on a remake of 1983’s The Entity. Although Wan is on board it seems unlikely he will direct the film. As ever, This Is Horror will bring you all the news as it occurs.

Windows Opened

This week saw the release of Open Windows starring Elijah Wood and Sasha Grey. Wood stars as a super fan of Grey’s character who becomes embroiled in a stalker’s plan for her. The film was released on DVD and VOD on 20 April and is available now.
