The Strain13 Sins heads to DVD

13 Sins is the latest film from the director of The Last Exorcism Jason Blum, and stars Sons of Anarchy alumni Ron Perlman. The plot centres on a young couple, hard up and with a baby on the way. They are offered a chance to win $6 million to star in a hidden camera TV show that challenges contestants to complete 13 challenges. What starts with swatting a fly descends into something altogether more sinister, all they have to do is listen to the voice on the phone… 13 Sins will be released on DVD on 30 June.

The Forest gets a new trailer ahead of release

The Forest is a new survival-horror game that allows the player complete freedom over their environment. The game pits the player against nature and a band of genetic mutants, challenging the player to hunt for food, build shelter and survive the onslaught. The game is available from Steam on 30 May.

Trailer emerges for Wayward Pines

Wayward Pines is the latest television show to hit Fox, it is currently scheduled  for a 2015 release. Wayward Pines is M. Night Shyamalan’s take on small town America and has a distinctly Twins Peaks vibe to it. When secret service agent Ethan Burke (Matt Dillon) arrives in Wayward Pines to track down two missing federal agents, he quickly discovers that the town and its inhabitants are far from what they seem. The Strain set for July release

The television series of Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan’s novel The Strain has been given a release date of 13 July on FX in the United States. The Strain features Corey Stoll as Dr. Ephraim Goodweather, a government official battling against a deadly viral outbreak. At this point there are no details about a UK release date.
