News Round-up Week Ending 22 January 2016

Here’s a selection of some of the horror and genre news that caught our eye during the last week…

Kane Hodder Dons The Hockey Mask Again (sort of) For Friday the 13th Game

Kane Hodder, the man that many consider to be the quintessential Jason Voorhees, has stepped back into the Friday The 13th universe once again this week where he has been working to motion capture some of that signature Voorhees stride for the in production Kickstarter driven Friday The 13th video game. As you can see in some of the photos below, Hodder has also been taking on several stuntmen while capturing some kill action.

OK, so he’s not actually got the hockey mask on, but the idea of Hodder back (even in a mocap suit) working as the unstoppable Crystal Lake killer should still be enough to bring whoops of joy to fans of the classic slasher films.

You can find out all you need to know about the Friday The 13th game by visiting the official site and you can see more behind the scenes photos by visiting the games official Facebook page.
