Regression #1 by Cullen Bunn - coverLook Out For … Regression by Cullen Bunn and Danny Luckert

“With advance praise from the legendary Steve Niles … it looks like Bunn has another hit on his hands.”

From Bram Stoker and Eisner Award nominated writer Cullen Bunn (Harrow County, The Sixth Gun, The Empty Man) comes Regression, a new horror series in collaboration with artist Danny Luckert (Haunted) and colorist /letterer Marie Enger (Pistolwhip, 2 Sisters).

Here’s the synopsis: Adrian suffers from terrifying waking nightmares. Depressed and desperate for help, he begins a form of hypnotherapy that examines his past lives. While in trance, he sees a weird scene from the past. Once he comes back to reality, Adrian discovers that what he saw in his vision has come back with him to the present, something dark and weird. He plunges headfirst into occult conspiracies and reincarnations, his sanity under assault, and finds there is no escape.

Why We’re Excited About This Comic Series:

Cullen Bunn has created one of the better comics of the last few years with Harrow County, with its depiction of rural gothic nightmares, so he is no stranger to horror. While that series is still ongoing with Dark Horse, Image definitely has their fingers deep in the bloody mess of horror comics, so Regression is a nice fit. With advance praise from the legendary Steve Niles (30 Days of Night, The October Faction) it looks like Bunn has another hit on his hands. What’s even stranger is Bunn is basing this series on his own father, who happened to be a professional hypnotherapist who would conduct past life regressions on the stage, adding a personal touch to his stellar storytelling abilities. Based on the cover art alone, this story looks like it has to the potential to bring the scary.

Regression #1 is out 10 May 2017 and is available for preorder now.
