Neil Marshall Produced Dark Signal to Receive BAFTA Preview Screening

Welsh slasher-cum-ghost story Dark Signal will be receiving a BAFTA preview screening, followed by a Q&A with the director, on May 11 at the Chapter Arts Centre in Cardiff. Produced by Neil Marshall of British horror classics Dog Soldiers and The Descent, Dark Signal is the directorial debut of Edward Evers-Swindell and is filmed on location in the remote location of Snowdonia. Pitched as a vengeful spirit story with a difference, it may be one to watch for 2016. For ticket information for this preview screening click here.


Dan Mumford 28 Days Later Inspired Poster Artwork Now Available

mumford-28days-posterAs the Secret Cinema 28 Days Later event continues to rage its way through London, British artist extraordinaire Dan Mumford has been inspired to create his take on the apocalyptic film with an amazing new limited edition screenprint poster made just for the event.

Joseph D’Lacey to Release New Co-written Novel Clown Wars – Blood and Aspic

Joseph D’Lacey, author of This is Horror chapbook Roadkill, has revealed the cover and title of a new novel he will be self-publishing. He has co-written the novel with Jeremy Drysdale—screenwriter and story writer for a number of top selling video game titles—and describes it as “the strangest manuscript he’s ever worked on”. Period zombies in your living room with the home release of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies

Starring Game of Thrones’ Charles Dance and Lena Headey alongside Doctor Who’s Matt Smith, last year’s zombie horror/period drama mash-up, Pride & Prejudice & Zombies has been slated for a release on digital download on June 20, with the blu-ray and DVD versions available a week later. Marrying the original story of romance between classes in nineteenth century England with a zombie outbreak sweeping the nation and casting the female lead as a martial arts expert, you can see more of what to expect here


Gory Slasher Desecrated Gets UK DVD Release

When a group of wealthy college kids go to spend a weekend partying at an isolated ranch, what else might you expect than a heavily armed military veteran to go postal and begin hacking them to death? 2015’s Desecrated will be landing on these shores on DVD and Blu-ray on May 16. While perhaps not the most imaginative of storylines, the synopsis promises plenty of bloodshed. Take a look at the trailer below.


Pet Sematary Documentary to be Released For 27th Anniversary of Film

To coincide with the 27th anniversary of Pet Semetary, Terror Films are running a promotion offering a special limited edition dual disc Blu-Ray/DVD bundle set of their documentary Untold: the Path To Pet Semetary, which they say is packed with special features, interviews with cast members and more. The documentary charts the journey of the seminal horror story from Stephen King’s original novel to script and, ultimately to the 1989 classic film. Fans can pick up the package here.


Exorcism Shocker The Vatican Tapes to Premiere on Friday 13th on The Horror Channel

THE-VATICAN-TAPES-UK-POSTERIt wouldn’t be Friday 13th without a horror premiere on The Horror Channel, so on Friday 13th May, they will be broadcasting the premiere of The Vatican Tapes. Following the tried and tested exorcism-formula of a young girl possessed by an ancient satanic spirit and the struggle of holy men to save her from her demise, The film stars Michael Peña, Dougray Scott and Djimon Hounsou.
